From Medical Aid to Fashion Accessory: The Sound Jewelry Hearing Aid Series

To mark its 20th anniversary, the Walsin Technology Charity Foundation collaborated with Professor Cheng Meng-tsung’s team from Taipei Tech’s Department of Industrial Design to create the Sound Jewelry Series. Guided by the 3H concept—Hear, Help, and Happiness—the project reimagines hearing aids by transforming them from conservative, hidden medical devices into stylish accessories that complement users’ outfits, hairstyles, and personal style, helping boost confidence and challenge stereotypes.
